Eurofins Environment Testing Eaton Analytical, part of the Eurofins Environment Testing network of laboratories in the US and a leader in water quality analysis, has introduced a cutting-edge method to detect chloronitramide anion, a newly identified disinfection byproduct (DBP), in drinking water.


The EPA just announced final PFAS Drinking Water MCLs (maximum contaminant levels).

The final version of EPA 1633A was released by the U.S. EPA on December 5, 2024 and published for public comment in the CFR as part of a Methods Update Rule on January 21, 2025. The public comment period closed on March 24, 2025. Although the method remains draft, EPA has long encouraged laboratories, regulatory authorities, and other interested parties to review and use the draft versions of this method. Eurofins’ labs are fully operational and ready to support the latest version of 1633A.
