Probiotic Enumeration by Flow Cytometry: Determining both Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus subtilis Spore Counts in Mixed Populations in Food and Dietary Supplements

Flow cytometry can provide key information on the integrity, quality, and quantity of the organisms in a probiotic product. This poster discusses how we can utilize flow cytometry in a multi-component finished product to accurately and precisely enumerate B. coagulans and B.subtilis spores.
