Overview of Supplement Facts Panels and FDA Regulations
During this webinar Audrey Frist will focus on 2 aspects of supplement labeling. Ms. Frist will start the webinar discussing the differences between supplement and nutrition facts panels, and how to tell which is appropriate for your product. Next Mr. Frist will touch on what the new FDA regulations are regarding labeling, when the regulations take effect and how this will impact your product. The webinar will conclude with a discussion on what nutritional analysis packages are available for the testing of your product.
Audrey Frist is the Senior Project Manager for Dietary Supplements at the Eurofins Nutritional Analysis Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Before coming to Eurofins Ms. Frist worked as a laboratory manager in academic research for 20 years. Audrey has a BS in Microbiology from Mississippi State University and has done post-graduate Molecular/Cellular Biology work at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
