Eurofins Microbiology Laboratories Announces James Darney as Business Unit Manager at Fresno, CA Site

Eurofins Microbiology Laboratories, Inc. extends its congratulations to James Darney on his recent promotion as the Business Unit Manager of Manufacturing at Eurofins Microbiology for the Fresno lab.
In his new role, James will exercise a strong commercial position by expanding the business within the sector by identifying and pursuing new opportunities and collaborating closely with the Fresno team to optimize operational efficiency within the lab. James brings over a decade of experience encompassing leadership, operational expertise, business management, and construction skills throughout his career journey.Currently pursuing his (E)MBA at Fresno State University, James embarked on his professional journey after graduating from the Senior Military Academy of Norwich University in Vermont. Commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army, he dedicated four years of service, culminating in his role as a Company Commander with 1/1AD at Fort Bliss, Texas, achieving the rank of captain.
Transitioning into the civilian sector, James took on the role of Operations Manager at Pactiv where he practiced a production operation including scheduling processes, quality control, and cost assurance, he also oversaw several divisions and development projects, concentrating on the KPIs and company ambitions. Additionally, James managed the manufacturing division to fulfill the expectations for client satisfaction, security, and goals. James then transitioned his role as General Manager of Manufacturing at Multistep, where he coordinated the construction and establishment of a manufacturing plant. His experience and hard work led him to his current position as Business Unit Manager at Eurofins.

James resides in Fresno with his wife, and their two children. Outside of work, he finds enjoyment in activities such as watching professional sports, smoking meat, weightlifting, and traveling to explore new destinations. He also holds a keen interest in history, particularly the narratives of nation-building.
