The National Food Laboratory (NFL) Appoints Dan Brouman as New President
February 20, 2025 - We are excited to announce the promotion of Dan Brouman to President of the National Food Laboratory (NFL), effective immediately.
Dan joined Eurofins in June 2017 and has consistently proven himself as a key leader in driving growth and innovation across the company’s diverse operations. Over the years, Dan has played a critical role in multiple business transformations, bringing strategic expertise that has benefited Eurofins’ various divisions.
Dan began his career with the organization at Eurofins Environmental, where he successfully completed the acquisition of CEI, resulting in a significant boost to EBITA margins. He then moved on to Eurofins Craft Technologies, where he led the launch of SAFER@WORK during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing businesses with vital safety protocols. Most recently, Dan took on a leadership role at Eurofins Food Testing Netherlands, where his strategic and commercial leadership drove profitability and positioned the operation well.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from John Carroll University and an MBA from The Wharton School of Finance. Before joining Eurofins, he held senior roles in financial analysis and pricing strategy.
With his extensive leadership experience, track record of driving operational improvements, and deep understanding of the food testing sector, Dan is well-positioned to lead the National Food Laboratory into its next phase of growth and innovation.
