On December 17, 2021, the United State Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) published the final Unregulated Contaminants Monitoring Rule 5 (UCMR5). This 5th UCMR will require monitoring of the drinking water entry points of public water systems across the nation for selected Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and Lithium. To assist our water system customers plan for a successful implementation of the UCMR5 requirements, we will project a detailed overview of the Rule requirements, including key milestones, deadlines plus opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
