Eurofins Air Toxics was formed in 1989 for the purpose of providing analytical services relating to the determination of toxic air pollutants. Today, Eurofins Air Toxics is the global leader in air testing and Center of Excellence for Eurofins Environment Testing US in supporting a wide range of matrices for both routine and specialty air testing programs. Capabilities extend from trace level measurements required for indoor air testing to identifying and quantifying organics in complex matrices following EPA, ASTM and in-house developed methods.
With over 8,000 canisters, 5,000 quick-connect flow controllers and several thousand sorbent tubes, Eurofins Air Toxics maintains the largest single location air sampling media inventory of any laboratory in the United States. Analysis is supported with state-of-the-art instrumentation and equipment, which has been optimized in order to enhance performance and reliability. In addition, our expert staff has designed and built innovative equipment to address laboratory processing challenges and meet unique project needs. The investment in instrumentation means that Eurofins Air Toxics has the redundancy and capacity to effectively process a large number of samples and achieve the required report delivery timelines.
Eurofins Air Toxics supports numerous EPA methods described in the Compendium of Methods for the Determination of Toxic Organic Compounds in Ambient Air, commonly referred to as the “TO” methods. Additionally, the laboratory has implemented various ASTM methods. The following analyses are currently performed routinely at Eurofins Air Toxics. Special project requirements, including method developing, may be accommodated upon request.
