veriDart & Compliance with ASHRAE 241, Control of Infection Aerosols

The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Epidemic Task Force (ETF) published ASHRAE Standard 241, Control of Infectious Aerosols, in July 2023.

ASHRAE 241 establishes minimum requirements for control of infectious aerosols, to reduce the risk of disease transmission in new and existing buildings and in major renovations to building spaces.

ASHRAE 241’s Normative Appendix C specifies qualified tracer particles for functional performance testing (FPT). These include DNA-tagged aerosol tracer particles generated from a water-based aerosol simulating the emission and mobility of, and exposure to, infectious aerosols.

SafeTraces offers a Certification Course for environmental consultants, industrial hygienists, mechanical engineers, HVAC contractors, and facility services professionals. Certification enables field providers to sell veriDART^®, lead client engagements, or perform tests at their own facilities.

By attending the training and completing the required course assignments, qualified professionals will gain key knowledge through hands-on exercises and tutorials.
