Medical device manufacturers can participate by submitting their medical products to Eurofins E&E for RFID testing.
Eurofins E&E will protect the anonymity of the test vendors and confidentiality of the test results. Eurofins E&E will only share test data with FDA and Aim-global pertaining to the validity of a finalized test protocol.
Manufacturer associated engineer(s) needs to be present during testing and provide setup and operating instructions. The support will include diagnosing the issue, assessing the criticality of the problem (impact on the device) and confirming the validity of test results.
Eurofins E&E will help with determining the cause of the issues and will provide advice on how to mitigate the problem. The RFID testing will take 1 week to complete for each submitted device.
