Michael Bauer MD, CLIA Laboratory Director - Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles and Hawaii

Dr. Bauer graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1992. After graduation, he completed a residency in pathology in 1997 at Loma Linda University Medical Center followed by a fellowship year in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He is board certified in clinical pathology and transfusion medicine. Dr Bauer's expertise is in quality systems and donor eligibility determination and has extensive knowledge of the transplant community. Dr Bauer has served as Medical Director for several tissue and eye banks across the country as well as Laboratory Director for donor testing organizations.
