Joe Chaffin MD, NYSDOH Laboratory Director - Denver and Los Angeles

Dr. Chaffin is board certified physician in blood banking and transfusion medicine, as well as in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Chaffin has worked as a blood center medical director, an immunohematology reference lab medical director and a hospital-based anatomic and clinical pathologist both in the U.S. Army and in Northern Colorado. Currently, Dr. Chaffin is the Chief Medical Officer for LifeStream in San Bernardino, CA. Dr. Chaffin also is the main blood bank lecturer for the Osler Institute Pathology Review Course for the last 18 years.
