Eurofins DPT Executive Team
Sara Dionne, PhD, D(ABHI) President
Dr. Dionne is the President of Eurofins DPT. Sara has significant experience and successes creating and leading laboratory change to meet the needs of the industries that DPT serves. Since 2018 she served as the Vice President of Operations of Eurofins DPT where she directed the expansion of DPT's national footprint of laboratories and led the implementation of a modern Laboratory Information Management System and testing automation across all locations.
She has previous experience in leading organizations and laboratories. Prior to this role, Sara was the Senior Laboratory Director for LABS, Inc. representing Operations on the Executive Leadership Team. Dr. Dionne has held the clinical roles of CLIA Laboratory Director and ASHI Director for over 10 years. Before joining the Transplant Community in 2012, Dr. Dionne held an appointment at the University of Arizona where she specialized in the immunobiology of infectious diseases and cancer.
Sara holds memberships in The American Society of Transplant Surgeons and American Society of Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics. A committed advocate for donation, Sara has served on several advisory boards for Organ Procurement Organizations, and ASHI and UNOS committees.
She received her Ph.D. from The University of Arizona and is a certified Fellow through the American College of Histocompatibility & Immunogenicity.
Brenden O’Neale, Director of Laboratory Operations
Brenden O’Neale serves as the Director of Laboratory Operations for Eurofins DPT. He has oversight of all DPT laboratories across the United States for our Infectious Disease, Microbiology and HLA test services. Brenden has over a decade of laboratory operations experience including strategic planning, laboratory acquisition assimilation, laboratory start-ups, implementation of quality control and KPI programs.
EJ Franklin, Director of Finance
EJ joined Eurofins DPT in March 2021, as Director of Finance, overseeing accounting, finance, and operations support functions, including purchasing. Over the past 20 years, EJ has held roles with increasingly progressive responsibility, in leading international companies within technology and industrial manufacturing sectors. Past experience includes integrating acquisitions, implementing best practices, and creating value through change management. Prior to joining Eurofins, EJ held senior finance positions at Luminex Corporation, a life science technology and manufacturing company, and AGCO Corporation, a global agricultural equipment manufacturer. EJ holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah.
Kimberly Elliott, Director Business Development
Kimberly Elliott is the Director of Business Development for Eurofins DPT. She brings over 20 years’ experience in the human cell and tissue industry. Kimberly’s knowledge and expertise in HCT/P services span regulated testing, business development, effective application of regulations and customer support for the recovery, testing and transplantation of organs, tissues, and tissue and cell-based products. Prior to joining Eurofins, Kimberly has held leadership roles supporting HCT/P establishments in the tissue banking, cell therapy and regenerative medicine space. Kimberly is an active member of the American Association of Tissue Banks. She is a graduate of Arizona State University with a BS in Exercise Physiology.
