Coronavirus 19 Testing for Donor and Transplant Population

In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the need for testing symptomatic patients in the donor and transplant population, Eurofins DPT has assembled COVID-19 testing under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) classification. As part of this effort, DPT has made Viracor SARS-CoV-2 PCR Assay at  DPT Denver available to our customer base if the donor meets CDC guidelines for testing and traditional pathways to COVID-19 testing are unavailable.

DPT’s number one priority is to continue offering the testing services for organ and tissue transplantation and if a need does arise to offer COVID-19 testing, we have a service pathway that does not disrupt our primary purpose. We will continue to monitor the situation and evaluate additional testing alternatives approved under EUA that present themselves for screening donors for COVID-19.

Coronavirus 19 Testing for General Population Testing

Eurofins DPT now offers testing options for the general population. DPT offers RT-PCR testing with 24-48 Hour TAT predominantly for asymptomatic groups. For individuals, the Coronavirus Viracor SARS-CoV-2 PCR Assay self-pay price is $100.  Additional charges may apply for specimen collection, logistics or expedited turnaround testing.
