Electronically signed Certificates of Analysis will soon be available on LabAccess.com
Lancaster Laboratories will soon add a significant improvement to the features already available through LabAccess.com. Currently, the reports customers can retrieve on LabAccess.com are exact copies of the reports sent in the mail, but they do not include the final QA Release signature. Starting in 2009, the QA team will be reviewing and signing reports electronically, and the second this signature occurs the reports will be available to customers through LabAccess.com.
Those customers who currently receive their reports via e-mail will continue to receive them, but there will be two significant improvements to that service. First, the attached Certificate of Analysis will contain the Lab’s QA release signature. There will be no need to wait for the final copy, signed in ink, to come in the mail. Second, the e-mail will also include a hyperlink to the released information on LabAccess.com. Click on the link, supply the LabAccess.com user name and password and be taken directly to the sample delivery group details page in LabAccess.com. Once there, look at test results, review raw data or go directly to the Certificate of Analysis report. Also, the Lab can send just the link without the report attached. This is just another example of our continuing efforts to provide better service through technology.
