How can LabAccess.com help me?

LabAccess.com provides you with access to real-time data. You have the ability to track your samples and view approved intermediate data. Your final reports will be available on-line as soon as they are approved by our Quality Assurance (QA) team.

How can you guarantee the security of my data?

Lancaster Laboratories recognizes the importance of protecting client data. Our LabAccess.com site is fully secure with SSL encryption and user-specific authorizations. A LabAccess.com account is granted only to users that have a valid e-mail address in Lancaster Labs’ LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). After the request has been submitted, a link is e-mailed to the LIMS e-mail address for the client, and the client must access the link within two hours and complete the account registration form. Access to the client’s projects will be granted by a client service representative.

Login to LabAccess.com requires a “strong” password, meaning that the password must contain at least one of each of the following: an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and a digit. Passwords must be between 8 and 16 characters in length. In addition, users must select a security image at the time of account setup. The login is a two-step process that begins with the entry of the user name. When the user name is confirmed, the selected security image is displayed. The password should only be entered if the correct security image is displayed.

Can I look at my data at any time?

As soon as your samples have been received in Lancaster Labs’ LIMS, you may begin tracking your data and can begin reviewing data on-line as it becomes available. You may log into LabAccess.com at any time on any day.

How will I know when my data is final?

Each sample is assigned a status. A status of “Authorized” indicates the data has been approved by the data review group and is pending QA approval. A status of “QA Released” indicates that our Quality Assurance team has released all data associated with the sample.

How detailed will the data be?

The data will include scans of notebook pages, instrument printouts, chromatograms, and final reports. If you normally receive a data package, this will be available on-line as well.

Is there a fee to use LabAccess.com?

If you are an active Lancaster Labs’ client, there is no fee to use LabAccess.com.
