About the Course
The Food Industry is expected to conduct timely and effective root cause investigations that are well documented when specifications are not met. To prevent food safety risks from reoccurring, it is essential for food industry professionals to understand how to perform a root cause investigation and to avoid common mistakes that lead to chronic systemic problems.
In this course, we will discuss the importance of identifying the root cause (why) of a nonconformance so that the appropriate remediation and preventive measures (what/how) can be put in place to prevent future risks. The course will help develop a systematic approach to addressing risks related to nonconformances.
